Friendly Pain

Hey guys, I have been a lot busy lately. Trying to pick up unturned stones. But I surely didn't forget you🤗. Well, during this period, I kept to myself but was able to scribble down this poem.

Friendly Pain

Pain, you are always there
Even when no one heard.
Though you are not evident,
I'm victimized by you.

Forced smile tends to veil you
But you are not bothered
Because you know you've got a home
Where no one sees.

I embrace you as a companion,
A companion that spices my loneliness.
This loneliness gets bored
But as you will have your way,
You cheer it up with heavy tears.


My heart tries to push you away,
My mind refuses.
It loves your presence,
And therefore keeps you.

I try, I try.
I try to tell you 'It's enough'
Yet you burden me heavily.
I appreciate it.

I brought you in.
Now it's difficult to send you away
Because I need you
When I am ignored...
